What is Real Time Ultrasound (Diagnostic Ultrasound)?
Real-time ultrasound (RTUS) is a safe, painless and non-invasive diagnostic tool that allows instant access to view muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues as they move and function. Unlike traditional imaging techniques that produce static images, RTUS provides dynamic, live visuals of the body's internal structures. This technology empowers physiotherapists to visualise internal structures, enabling precise identification of injuries and accurate assessment of tissue health.
