Wendy’s Profile

I graduated with a Physiotherapy degree from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. My career began in the public sector, where I discovered a strong interest in neurology, working with stroke, quadriplegic, and paraplegic patients. Later, I moved into private practice and, in 2019, co-founded my own clinic.  

My personal 18-year struggle with chronic pain—stemming from injuries, trauma, and underlying conditions—drove me to explore both Western and Eastern medicine. True relief only came after realigning my fascia system, which inspired me to focus on helping others with complex chronic pain. Over the years, I’ve trained in craniosacral therapy, lynotherapy, modern myofascial decompression, and emotional release techniques, creating tailored solutions for patients—some of whom have gone on to achieve feats like completing 90km+ ultramarathons. (I’m still part of the Physiotherapy Team for South Africa’s Comrades Marathon, a 90km race held annually.)  

After overcoming my own pain in 2023, I began powerlifting and spending more time in nature. Now, as I moved to Hong Kong, I’m excited for new adventures and connections in Asia.
